Hey guys, TSS here. I have a special post for you today, specifically requested by the NuMe community: a hair tutorial! Keep calm and EVERYONE GO CRAZY!
This is kind of a big deal, seeing as this is the VERY FIRST TUTORIAL that NuMe has ever done. If you like it, tell me in the comments so the NuMe Girls can make some more! Remember, there's this huge arsenal of NuMe tools and products at the HQ office... and the girls are just itching to get creative.
All right, today's NuMe Hairtorial is the ever-popular Waterfall Braid... complete with gorgeous curls from the NuMe 32mm Curling Wand on Emily's super-long tresses! Pleased with the final results, she vowed never to wash her hair ever again... but we begged her to reconsider, as that could violate health code restrictions. Don't worry Emily, we can give you great hairstyles every day! FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.
Here is the final look:

Awesome, right?
Here's what we used:
NuMe Thermal Defense Spray
NuMe Miracle Shine Spray
NuMe 32mm Curling Wand
One wide-toothed comb
A couple of hairpins
Emily's head
Lots and lots and lots of love

Ready for this? OKAY!
Step 1: Protect Yo-self
Lifting the hair at the roots, spray a heat protectant evenly throughout the whole head of hair. We used our fully-awesome Thermal Defense, but your favourite heat protectant will work just fine. Always let hair dry before applying heat. Blah blah blah.
Step 2: Part and Section
We recommend a stylish side part. Why? Because I wear a side part, and they're awesome. Yeah, rock the side part.
Gently comb through your hair beginning at the tips, then work your way up to the roots (this helps avoid any tugging or breakage to the hair follicle). Part your victim's hair as preferred, then pull a nice section of hair from the very top-front of her head. Just like elementary school braids, part this section into three pieces:

Step 3: Frenching like a Pro
At a slight angle away from the face, begin weaving a bomb-diggity french braid:

Step 4: The Rather Dodgy Step
This, my friend, is where it gets fun. First, end the short french braid holding your three pieces. Grab a new piece from the top and drop it down so it appears to be "waterfalling"... BUT do not incorporate that left piece into the braid. Then, take the original right piece over the waterfall piece, continuing the braid (as indicated by the blue arrow):

Step 5: Onward!
Continue waterfalling, following the curvature of your victim's head in a downward angle (it should end at about the ear):

Step 6: Pin Dat Back
Once you have reached the point where you want to end, pin the braid in place. We suggest a criss-cross of two hairpins, maybe a silly barrette, a bow perhaps... do not use chewed-up gum, gorilla glue, duct tape, or anything positively absurd. Unless you're planning on having a buzz cut in the near future.

Step 7: Marvel at Your (unfinished) Work
Dang, that is some waterfally-braidy-goodness! Hey hey hey but hold your horses... we're not quite finished with you just yet.

Step 8: Girls Need Curls
Warm up your NuMe Curling Wand (this one, we really recommend). Wearing your heat-resistant glove, wrap a piece about two-inches-wide around the wand and hold for ten seconds. Continue this until not a strand is straight.
Tip about our Curling Wands: We used a 32mm Wand on Emily's tresses because, as you can see, she has pretty long hair. If your hair is about medium/long, we suggest using the 25mm Wand. For hair above shoulder length, the 19mm Wand is perfect. For very short hair (or if you like tiny curls), rock the 13mm Wand. We've heard some extreme buzz on YouTube lately about the Pearl Wand, which creates the most awesomest randomized curls we've ever seen. If your hair is short, but you'd like to grow it out, the Reverse Wand is great because it ranges from 13mm to 25mm... but, if you want different curls for your different moods, definitely go with the 4Play set.
Yeah, we got options.

BONUS: Our Thermal Defense Spray is pretty awesome because, not only does it protect your hair, it provides some pretty nice hold for the individual who isn't into lots of product.
Step 9: Make Your Hair a Miracle
That was SO cheesy, guh. After your hair is Curly Sue, use your fingers to break up the curls a bit to get that au naturel/total babe look. Use a few spritzes of the Miracle Shine to really kick the shine and radiance to the next level. It's light, not sticky, and a total lifesaver for dull hair. Oh, and the scent rocks.

Step 10: Fake Step, There IS No Step 10!
...Unless you count "going out and having a ball while jealous people begrudgingly compliment you on that freaking awesome hairstyle you're pulling off with flying colours". Seriously though, dance your bum away... your hair will stay put. Aww yiss.
Are you a crazy person? Do you have what it takes to complete THE DOUBLE WATERFALL?!
